Mauger Caye is located at the northernmost point of the Turneffe Atoll, approximately 19 miles off the coast of Belize. This 6.15-acre caye boasts one of the best possible locations in the atoll, with plentiful white sand throughout, making it exceptionally attractive for future development or recreational use.
Surrounded by crystal-clear waters and thriving coral reefs, Mauger Caye is a paradise for divers, snorkelers, and marine explorers. Hundreds of nearby coral patches host vibrant marine life, including tropical fish, sea fans, and other incredible sea creatures—making this area one of the richest marine environments in the region.
At the heart of the island stands the historic Mauger Caye Lighthouse, a 19-meter-tall white framework tower built in the early 1900s. Still fully operational, the lighthouse serves as a vital navigational aid for ships traversing the Belize Barrier Reef and the Caribbean Sea. It is operated and maintained by the Belize Port Authority.
Please note: The parcel on which the lighthouse is built is privately owned and not included in the sale.
Mauger Caye offers a unique opportunity to acquire land in one of Belize’s most ecologically rich and historically significant marine environments.
